Peak Attraction™ is a grafted apple crab with many exceptional characteristics that make this tree an exception cultivar for wildlife. These characteristics include a high resistance or immunity to apple scab, cedar apple rust, powdery mildew, and fireblight in a no-spray situation. Peak attraction™ is an annually productive tree, producing 2'' apple crabs that I would describe as a sweet nutty-flavored apple. This tree begins dropping in mid-October, continuing through November. It retains a few 100 fruits into December and January. Still, during November, the main drop occurs for a large portion of the U.S. When the peak of deer movement during the rut matches fruit falling, it creates something extraordinary. The apple crabs falling during this time is why this tree has earned the name peak attraction™. This tree exhibits a high level of vigor when grafted onto Dolgo roots, and productivity almost to be unmatched. As we look at these pictures of Peak Attraction™, the original tree is a giant and well over 50' tall from the excessive vigor that this tree has. The original tree resides in plant hardiness zone 4b, making it very hardy from zones 4b-8. You will have a mature height of 20'+

A grafted fast-growing tree with good disease resistance produces abundant annual crops of 1 ¾" crabapples that are good for eating out of hand and the deer. It is a highly vigorous tree and produces fruit annually. I have seen excellent resistance to cedar apple rust, fireblight, and powdery mildew in a no-spray situation. I have seen apple scab develop on leaves and fruit in a no-spray situation in years of excessive rain. Prime Time Crab will begin dropping in the last weeks of October and continue through November and December. This crabapple also is dropping a lot of fruit into December here in Pennsylvania and is one I wouldn't have a fruit orchard without this tree in it. It doesn't take but to look at my pictures of this tree, and you can see why I would not have an orchard with a few prime time crabs growing in it. For a video of a young Prime Time Crab, CLICK HERE. The tree is highly productive and provides a maximum draw at just a perfect time. This tree will reach a mature height of 20'+. Plant Hardiness zones 5-8

A grafted female that is self-fruitful. Originated in NY. Prok persimmons produce a rather large 2’’ to 2 1/2’’ fruit from the last week of August through late September. The fruit from Polk does not fully ripen here in Pennsylvania before it falls free from the tree and is better suited for southern states. Prok typically begins bearing fruit 2-3 years after planting. Grows well to -20 F. Hardiness zone 6-8

This Grafted tree produces an abundance of super sweet pears that begin ripening on the tree in mid-November. The original tree is HUGE for a pear tree. It has over a 6’ circumference at the bottom, stands well over 60’ tall, and is a 60+-year-old tree with zero signs of ever having fire blight. When I gained permission to access this tree, the owner told me “o, that pear, the deer really love that one.” I knew this because I had been watching this pear for years that even in Pennsylvania's heavily pressured rifle deer season it was a given that morning or evening, there would be deer under this tree.
This tree produces an abundance of super sweet pears ripening on the tree, remaining palatable, and begin dropping mid-November 2 weeks after Kieffer pear. Rifle Deer Pear™ only drops for a few short weeks….Therefore making this a powerful and fast draw that typically ends the 1st week of December. As I observed this pear tree dropping, I noted that there were never any on the ground and always loaded with deer signs! This tree produces an abundance of pears annually.
The Rifle Deer Pear™ would be perfect for jams and jellies, but we're not looking for that here. We are looking for a tree that’s highly desirable by deer, and this tree is one of them! This tree has seen a low temperature of -22 degrees which would place it hardy in zone 4b. However, This makes it a solid pear tree for planting in Hardiness zones 5-8. Rifle deer pear will reach a height of 20'+.

This Grafted crabapple is a prolific tree meaning it bears heavily and annually. The Road Kill Crab™ is an exceptional tree. It is disease resistant, producing heavily on one year old wood, making for a tree with weeping branches loaded with crabapples. These 1'' to 1 1/2" crabapples are spicy tart and very attractive to the whitetail deer. Roadkill crab™ has extreme vigor and grows exceptionally fast. The original Road Kill crab™ tree has claimed a lot of deer as it hangs over the roadside. There is always Road kill deer lying on the Road beneath the original Road Kill Crab™ tree. This tree earned its name and has proven to be exceptional when looking to feed or attract deer as it drops fruit from late October well into December. Road Kill Crab™ is very precocious and generally bears fruit the same year as planting. This tree is self-fertile and has extreme vigor among the cultivars grown here. In a no-spray situation, I have seen excellent resistance to apple scab, cedar apple rust, powdery mildew, and fireblight or immunity. The mature height of Road kill Crab™ is 20'+. Plant Hardiness Zone 4b-8.

The RubyRush™ apple is a cross between two popular apple trees widely planted for wildlife Enterprise and Goldrush apple. This apple tree has excellent resistance to apple scab, FireBlight, and Cedar Apple rust in a no-spray situation. The fruit is crisp and great for fresh eating on the way to the stand or feeding wildlife as this fruit ripens and begins falling in October and continues into November here in Pennsylvania. RubyRush™ is vigorous and maybe too productive as it can go into bi-annual bearing if not thinned. However, I will take a disease-free apple falling at the right time (Oct/Nov) on my properties and as many as possible. RubyRush™ is suitable for plant hardiness zones 4b-7. Mature height will be 20'+—plant Hardiness zones map.
Only available in 2-yr trees.

Rusty’s Favorite™ is a grafted cultivar that is extremely productive tree with a drop period from mid September through mid October. This tree is a standard apple producing a 3'' apple no matter the fruit load that is on the tree, it is consistent and no need for thinning. This tree produces a large and sweet apple that's taste is comparable to that of a Macintosh apple, and is about perfect in size and shape even in a no spray situation. The apple has a nice sweet crunch with low tannins and excellent flavor. Rusty's favorite™ is a vigorous growing tree among the top 20% of apples trees grafted and grown here.
Among its many unique qualities such as the shear number of apples it produces, along with its great taste, it has excellent disease resistance here in the Northeast, in my opinion I would say it surpasses most of the modern day disease resistant varieties of apples available on the market today. Rusty's favorite™ is one of the cleanest, best tasting wild growing trees I have ever seen.
The original tree is 70+ years old and has received temperatures as low as -25 degrees making it well suited for northern climates. This is an incredible apple and ideal for a low maintenance Wildlife orchard. This grafted apple tree is annually productive and originates from Northwest Pennsylvania. This tree is found residing in a region of the state that has thousands upon thousands of wild apple trees and yet sets itself apart by being one of a kind. There is no need to thin this tree because it easily handles its fruit load and manages to mature to a very nice sized apple. Mature height will be 20'+. Plant hardiness zones 4b to 7.

Don't let the name fool you. Smitty's Seedling is a grafted tree from a chance seedling out of central Minnesota. This apple begins dropping during September and continues into October. A large portion of this fruit will be falling during September. The sweet fruit has sizes varying from 2" to 4". The tree is cold hardy down to -40 and produces annually with lighter crops in some years. The apple is medium to large, sweet, and firm, with a crisp crunch. This grafted tree is productive and vigorous. This tree has great built-in disease resistance and makes for an excellent tree when planted for wildlife. When looking to put a sweet apple on the ground during this time and attract deer to an early plot. Smitty's Seedling has resistance to apple scab, cedar apple rust, powdering mildew, and fireblight by watching the tree here and in Minnesota. This tree is suitable for human consumption or adding to your cider mix. Smitty's Seedling will test anywhere from 13-18 brix, mainly depending on the size of the fruit and how much sun exposure (more red coloring) the fruit had. Hardiness zone 4 - 7.

This grafted tree produces heavy annual crops of 1 1/2’’ crabapples. This tree begins dropping the beginning of October with a steady drop of roughly 100 apples a day from what seems like an endless supply!! Sonofcal™ is always loaded with apples and deer sign under it! If you take a look all the way in the top of this tree, you can see apples on every branch except this years growth. When there’s that many apples on 1-year old wood, it’s a sure sign of a strong early producing tree!
This picture is from late Febuary and this tree was still holding a small fraction of the apple crop that it was carrying back in October and the flesh inside these crab apples was still intact and remained very palatable. The Sonofcal™ crab apples were still dropping consistently in mid February and keeping the “100 apples per day” pace that it did all season and the sign below it showed the appreciation from the deer in the area. This tree has good disease resistance leaves and fruit stay pretty clean. In a no spray situation, I have seen excellent resistance to cedar apple rust, also resistance to apple scab, powdery mildew and fireblight. Sonofcal™ will reach a mature height of 20'+. Plant Hardiness zones 5-8

This grafted pear tree will grow very tall with long weeping branches full of large, sweet European-style pears. They begin dropping in very late October and continue in through November into early December. The Sweet Advent™ pear tree produces heavily and annually with a strong resistance to fireblight and many pear diseases. This tree has extreme vigor and is very precocious producing a lot of fruit at an early age, Sweet Advent is tip bearing as well as spur bearing (this tree is over bearing of fruit please remove fruit from young trees and keep the central leader free of fruit). Sweet Advent™ pear is the best pear tree I have ever grown for wildlife.
The fruit of this pear tree is also is very edible to humans as well as deer. The Sweet Advent pear™ tastes great when picked off the tree in early November; as colder weather moves in, the sugar content in this pear goes extremely high (sugar content is almost too high for human consumption as freezing and thawing takes place). This process takes place in early to mid-November and will make this tree irresistible to all wildlife and be a favorite to my local deer. Sweet Advent™ pear will reach a mature height of 20'+. Suitable for plant hardiness zones 4b -8. For a video of Sweet Advent pear™ click here.

This grafted tree is extremely cold hardy, originating from plant hardiness zone 4a.
Sweet Dog is a 2" applecrab with a complex yet sweet flavor. This tree has fruited heavily after receiving -41 degree temperatures and has proven itself to be a consistently heavy and annual producer. Sweet Dog ripens and drops around the same time period as the Chestnut Crab, dropping fruit mainly during the month of September with a few lasting into October. This grafted tree is a great tree to add to your management plan or combine it with Chestnut Crab adding two cold hardy trees that would give you diversity in your plantings program. This applecrab is also a great addition into a cider mix.
Sweet Dog is showing some great resistance with no Apple Scab, Cedar Apple Rust, Fireblight or Powdery Mildew on this tree in a no spray situation. Mature height is 20'+ and suitable for plant hardiness zones 3-7.
Only available in 2-yr trees.
