Plum trees will go on sale in the late summer and will ship the following spring on a date you choose when you check out.
Blue Hill Wildlife Nursery has two great European-type plum trees for deer for sale.
These two types of plum trees are called NY9® and Bluebyrd. These plum trees are a great choice to add to your property for wildlife. Both trees have great resistance to diseases, with one of these diseases being Black Knot. Black knot is one of the most common ailments that afflict plum trees. It is caused by the fungus Apiosporina Morbosa and can severely limit the production of fruit trees. Excellent resistance to these diseases will allow the trees to be dependable and productive. Our plum trees
have a drop time beginning in early September and continuing to the end of September.
The trees are both grafted onto a Standard seedling rootstock. All our plum trees will be 2-year-old 4-6′ (+5/8”dia.) trees. As with any plum tree, these plums ripen and fall throughout September.
