Tree Protector Tubes by Tree Pro

Protecting young trees from deer browse is one of the most important steps you can take after planting. Tree Pro Tree Protector Tubes provide long-lasting protection while creating an ideal growing environment for young fruit, nut, and wildlife trees.

I use these 60-inch vented Tree Pro protectors on many of my own plantings, especially chestnut trees. They consistently produce excellent results. In most cases, I remove the protector after three to four years when the trunk reaches about 3 inches in diameter. Thanks to their durable construction, I can often reuse them on new plantings.

Easy Tree Maintenance

Tree Pro protectors make routine maintenance much easier than traditional closed tubes. Simply open the protector to prune branches, remove debris, or inspect your tree. There’s no need to remove the protector or risk damaging the trunk.

The expandable design also allows multiple protectors to connect together. As your tree grows, you can increase the diameter instead of replacing the entire protector.

These protectors also work well for grape vines, blueberries, strawberries, tomatoes, evergreens, and many other plants.

After planting, position the stake approximately halfway between the tree trunk and the inside wall of the protector before securing it in place.
