This grafted apple tree is commercially grown but has many excellent qualities that make it a great tree when planting apple trees for wildlife. Galarina™ apple tree is disease resistant, productive, has good vigor, and is late dropping. A no-spray situation shows strong resistance to apple scab, cedar apple rust, and no reports of fireblight. The apple is on the small side taste is good if you like that crisp crunch and a good apple flavor. This apple ripens in October in Pennsylvania and hangs well on the tree, dropping over a long period. A few will begin falling in late October and continue through November and December. Having a few apples hanging into January is likely, especially if the tree is planted significantly north or in higher elevations. Galarina™ apple is suitable for plant hardiness zones 4-7. Mature height will be 20'+—plant Hardiness zones map.
