The seed for these persimmon trees are derived from the original Full Draw persimmon tree which is cold hardy to -30° F. These are 90 chromosome cold hardy America persimmon trees that reach heights of between 30’ - 60’. They bloom in June avoiding late damaging frosts, female trees produce annually and are relished by deer.

These wild crabapple trees are grown from seed derived from Dolgo Crabapples. Because apple trees don't grow true to seed you will have many variations. Each tree will be it own unique and one of a kind new crabapple variety. These trees will all produce crabapples, although some trees may only produce a fruit that's edible for grouse and turkeys. While other trees produce a fruit that is palatable to a whitetail deer. There will be many variations amongst each individual tree such as fruit size, drop times, taste, production, palatability and disease resistance. Trees grown from malus dolgo will typically run a little better on the disease resistance and will produce a lot of crabapples. These are great for habitat improvements in creating a food source for all wildlife. These will grow a 20+ tall tree and do well in just about any soil type and conditions. Malus Dolgo also makes an excellent rootstock, quite Possibly the best rootstock, when grafting trees that will be planted for wildlife. The Wild Deer Apple Trees are grown from seed. They will produce a very edible apple that's typically 2'' - 3'' in diameter. The disease resistance, drop times, taste and fruit production will vary as these are not grafted trees. These wild deer apple trees will resemble the ones growing around old farm steads, in fence rows and over grown fields often seen here in the North East. Trees will reach a height of 20'+, grow very well in most any soil type or conditions. These apple trees are not conservation grade, these will be 3' trees with 1/4'' to 3/8'' diameter.
