As you will see with all my crabapple trees for sale, they are focused towards deer. In order to create the best crabapples for deer, I have located, observed and sorted through 1000’s of wild crabapples with one thing in mind, attracting and holding whitetail deer! My observations focused on many traits of crabapples. These include early producing, heavy fruit production, disease resistance, vigorous growth, and extended bloom times. They have dependable fruit production, varied drop times, good taste, and most important deer usage! I focused on trees that I wanted to bring back to my properties.
If I concentrate a preferred soft mast at times when no one else has any, I knew I could attract and hold many deer on my property. This goal was accomplished by providing early and late dropping fruit and having trees that consistently produce every year.
